By submitting the registration form, the participant (or, for a participant under 18, their parent or guardian) agrees to the following terms.
1.1 IMC 2026 is organised by the Indian Memory Sports Council (IMSC) in association with the Indian Memory Sports Academy (IMSA), an initiative of the Indian Memory Sports Foundation (IMSF). In these terms, “we”, “us” and “the Organiser” mean these organisations together.
1.2 Registration fees are collected, and GST invoices are issued, by the Indian Memory Sports Foundation (IMSF).
2.1 The championship is open to participants of all ages.
2.2 Age categories are decided by year of birth only:
2.3 Participants must upload a valid proof of age with the registration form and bring the original to the venue for verification at check-in.
2.4 Wrong or false information (including a wrong date of birth or category) may lead to rejection of the application, or disqualification with no refund.
3.1 Registration is through the online form only. Submitting the form does not confirm a seat.
3.2 Every application is reviewed by the Organiser. We may approve or reject any application at our discretion. We are not required to give a reason.
3.3 Approved applicants will receive an invoice with an online payment link. A seat is confirmed only after full payment is received.
3.4 Payment must be made within 3 days of receiving the invoice. If it is not, the approval may be cancelled and the seat offered to another applicant.
3.5 Seats are limited to 100 and are given on a first-come, first-served basis. 10 seats are reserved for the Senior category until 30 September 2026; after that, unused reserved seats are released to all categories.
3.6 Registrations close on 31 October 2026, or earlier when all 100 seats are filled. No registrations are accepted after the closing date.
4.1 The registration fee is ₹6,000 + 18% GST (₹7,080 in total) per participant.
4.2 Payment is made online through the payment link sent with the invoice. A GST invoice and a payment receipt will be issued by IMSF.
4.3 For participants under 18, the invoice is issued in the name of the parent or guardian. For participants 18 and above, it is issued in the participant’s name.
4.4 The fee includes: participation in the championship, the event T-shirt, a participant kit (ID badge, tracing sheets and stationery), lunch and refreshments for the participant on championship day, and a certificate.
4.5 The fee does not include travel, accommodation, food for guests, or the post-championship outing (see clause 12).
5.1 The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. A registration cannot be transferred to another person or to a future championship.
5.2 If the Organiser cancels the championship and does not offer an alternative date or format, the fee will be refunded. This is the only case in which a refund is given.
5.3 Bank or payment-gateway charges, if any, may be deducted from a refund.
6.1 The Organiser may change the date, venue, schedule, disciplines or format of the championship if needed. Participants will be informed as early as possible.
6.2 If the championship is postponed, the registration remains valid for the new date.
6.3 The Organiser is not responsible for costs participants incur because of such changes (for example travel or hotel bookings).
7.1 Participants must follow the official championship rules, the Participant Instructions, and the instructions of the arbiters and officials.
7.2 The decisions of the chief arbiter on scoring, rules and conduct are final.
7.3 Any form of cheating, use of prohibited devices or materials, assistance, communication with others during a discipline, or misconduct may result in penalties or disqualification, without a refund.
7.4 Participants and guests must behave respectfully towards other participants, officials, volunteers and venue staff. The Organiser may remove anyone whose behaviour disturbs the event.
8.1 Results are decided by the official scoring of each discipline. Medals and trophies are awarded as announced on the championship page, including the medal-eligibility rules for categories with fewer than 20 participants.
8.2 Results, including participants’ names, age categories, scores and rankings, will be published on the Organiser’s website, social media and in official records of memory sports.
8.3 Any query about a score must be raised with the chief arbiter within the time announced together with that discipline’s results. Queries raised after that time will not be considered.
9.1 Photographs and videos will be taken during the championship.
9.2 They will be used to publish results and to promote memory sports on the Organiser’s website and social media only if consent is given in the registration form. For participants under 18, this consent must be given by the parent or guardian.
9.3 A participant (or parent/guardian) may withdraw this consent at any time by writing to support@memorysportsindia.com. Content already published will be removed within a reasonable time where possible.
10.1 The information given in the registration form is used to process the registration, verify age, issue invoices and receipts, run the championship, publish results and contact the participant about this championship.
10.2 Data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy and in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
10.3 For participants under 18, the parent or guardian gives consent on the child’s behalf.
10.4 Identity documents uploaded for age proof are used only for verification and are not published.

11.1 Participants take part at their own risk. Participants should inform the Organiser before the event of any medical condition that officials should know about.
11.2 Parents or guardians remain responsible for participants under 18. For the Kids category, a parent or guardian must stay at the venue throughout the championship. For the Juniors category, a parent or guardian may drop the participant off at check-in, must be reachable by phone during the day, and must collect the participant at the end.
11.3 The Organiser is not responsible for loss of, or damage to, personal belongings at the venue.
11.4 To the extent permitted by law, the Organiser’s liability to any participant is limited to the registration fee paid.
12.1 The outing on the day after the championship is optional and separate from the championship.
12.2 The answer given in the registration form only records interest. Details, the fee (about ₹2,000 per person) and how to pay will be shared separately.
